The invention steel skylight protection system exists with the goal of reducing the chance of injury to staff working on the roof while also reducing or possibly negating damage to property, all without affecting the usage of the property, which in this case would be avoiding blocking out the light coming in from the skylight. For this reason our skylight protection is raised a fair degree above the skylight. This helps absorb impact from whatever it is that falls on the protection system, without affecting the skylight. Our systems are specifically designed for metal roofs and since the system is outside we recommend getting the metal hot dip galvanized or powder coated.
